Transformer oil purification is used in electronic products. Its principle is simple, but the winding process of transformers has different requirements depending on the intended use (different use).

What properties does transformer oil have after transformer oil purification?
The performance of transformer oil after transformer oil purification usually has the following requirements:
(1) The density should be as low as possible to facilitate the precipitation of moisture and impurities in the oil.
(2) The viscosity should be moderate, one too large impairs convection heat dissipation and one too small reduces the flash point.
(3) The flash point should be as high as possible, generally not lower than 135℃.
(4) The freezing point should be as low as possible.
(5) The lower the content of impurities such as acid, alkali, sulfur and ash, the better to prevent their corrosion on insulation materials, wires, fuel tanks, etc. to avoid as much as possible.
(6) The degree of oxidation should not be too high. The degree of oxidation is usually expressed in acid number, which refers to the amount of potassium hydroxide (mg) required to absorb the free acid in 1-gram oil.
(7) Stability should not be too low. Stability is usually expressed by the sediment of the acid count test, which represents the aging resistance of the oil.
Why does the transformer oil stand for some time before it can be used after transformer oil purification?
After transformer oil purification, the oil of the power transformer must be left to stand for some time, as the oil will form many bubbles after cleaning, which will affect the insulation strength of the insulating oil. That is, when the insulation test of the insulating oil is carried out, it must be left for a certain period of time.
transformer oil purification should pay attention to [moisture resistance] when filling insulating oil (try not to operate it on rainy days), the tools should be clean (avoid dust and dirt, etc.), and the filling quantity should be appropriate. -Specifications The role of the insulating oil is [circulating heat dissipation]: The heat generated by the coil is transferred to the heat pipe outwards.
How does the transformer oil purification work?
Transformer oil purification is today a widely used vacuum oil filter, which can not only completely remove the moisture and gas in the oil, but also effectively remove tiny impurities. The process sequence is: transformer oil to be treated → coarse filtration → fine filtration → heating oil vacuum dewatering and degassing → pure oil. Coarse filtration uses metal mesh and strong magnets, and fine filtration usually filters 1 μm tiny impurities.
